Why am I here? 2022
This is a good vision point question to ask yourself should you ever need to turn back to your true north. Why am I on this earth at this time? Why am I at Mixchange on this journey?
I am here because God called me. I love God, as He loved me first. At Mixchange I am getting the training in God’s ways and I am walking out His plan for my life, and I am coming out of my own plans that I used to walk in, where I could see that every day I was walking in darkness. I was just living by the suggestion of the world and I recognized that. I heard the call. That’s why I am here, I am answering that call. I am walking out my repentance and growing into full sonship.
Ephesians 2:2-7 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”
Love in a time of war 2022
This is war!!
This was the best thing I have ever been a part of. I remember singing with the group the background vocals for 2 hours one morning, and hours of marching in platoon formation. It was so much fun and hard work at the same time, I remember getting chafing under my arms from all the marching. The teamwork and unity was so impactful to me. During one dress rehearsal I remember standing in front of the door being shaken by the intense music and realising that we are in a war and that God is asking me in which army I am willing to fight in, and it cemented my choice to be here and to walk with God like this.
I cannot wait to be part of the rest of this work that God is doing through this vision, and the message God is bringing through a production like this.
As you walk with God by reading His Word and by speaking His Word the enemy is hearing the sound of his defeat. Jesus is hearing the sound of you following Him with your life. Heaven and earth bears witness as we speak every day in every moment. Choose life, believe and speak life, God’s Word. We can walk in love because God loved us first. As you watch and hear this sound may God’s love draw you to Him.

HFBI Bible school
Bible school has been a very important part of my life and has helped me tremendously to get where I am today. I started Bible school with HFBI in 2019 and the enemy tried everything to stop me. I remember the 1st night I left work to get to Bible school I sat in 2-hour traffic to get there and already my flesh was challenged to quit. But to attend Bible school was a very clear instruction from God and I thank God I took that step. It has opened God’s word and His messages to me so much and answered many questions I had about God and His word. I could grow in my identity in Christ and I developed spiritual muscles.
Subject matters that helped me.
In my first year we covered the very basics of faith and what I realized is that it is exactly that, it’s basic. Faith is not complicated and everyone can walk by faith. We also covered prayer and again this is also very simple. All you need to do is speak with God and then speak His word and watch how your world is shaped according to His will for your life. The Holy Spirit is with us to help us in our prayer life, and in our speaking and this is another topic we covered. It has been amazing to get to know the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
I am currently completing my third year called leadership academy. This is a wonderful eye-opener that we were all created to lead in our own lives and that we are given the authority to do so. I can clearly recognize areas in my life where I didn’t take leadership and now am able to create vision, goals and intention towards these areas. This is a unique year as it fits each person’s individual life focusing on their gifts and callings. Personal growth and leadership are important for all and me to continue developing as it propels and helps you in public service.
MONEY WITH A MISSION 2023
What really stood out for me this weekend was the impartation from Eric and Nikki Deaton. It was such a blessing to enjoy them as gifts from God. From Nikki’s message what ministered to me was the tone of adventure in faith and how this walk with God is an adventure which means to step out of your comfort zone and to allow God to take you there.
The way God takes you there is through obedience to His word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And as you are on a mission for God and obey Him, He provides. He provides seed and food for eating.

God's provision
Being at Mixchange and following God’s plan for my life required that I leave everything behind including my job which was my income. However before making this change the Lord gave me the scripture in Phill 4:19 saying: “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” and I knew He would make a way to provide for me because I am obedient to Him. God has been faithful as I have everything I need as He made a way to provide a home for me, I have food to eat and I am now debt free as He made a way to have my car paid off.
At Mixchange we often have adventure trips and I have not had to pay for these trips. God provides for all of us to be able to go and experience Him through people and adventures. One thing that these adventures include is cycling and not long after starting at Mixchange I was blessed with a brand-new bicycle from someone in our group and it now has about 1700km on it. One amazing moment of God’s provision was when all the girls in our group (25) went out to Spur for Jade’s birthday and we all had a wonderful time just enjoying each other. When we asked for the bill the waiter came back and said that it’s been paid for by someone in the restaurant. This person was obedient to God and he was a complete stranger to all of us as we didn’t know him but he paid our bill and left, this was so wonderful as there’s no doubt that this was God.
Another important part of God’s provision is His faithfulness in providing me with life words from the Holy Spirit and with relationships
